Subjects Taught
Math, Science

I graduated from Toombs County High School and went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University.  I continued my education and earned a Masters and Education Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University.

I started teaching at J.D.Dickerson in 2002.  I taught Pre-K for nine years and then moved up to first grade math and science.  Both grades have been great fun to teach and very rewarding.

I spent the first nine years of my life growing up in Emmanuel County.  My family then moved to Lyons where I still reside.  I have one son, Erik Spikes.  He is in college at Georgia Southern.
