I attended college at Brewton-Parker College and have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration.  I transferred to Georgia Southern College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 1989.  I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University.

I have taught in several counties throughout my teaching career including Tattnall, Evans, Effingham and Montgomery County.  Most of my teaching experience is in kindergarten, but I also have experience teaching Pre-K and first grade.

I am married to William Harn who teaches physics, chemistry and physical science at Vidalia High School.  I am also a mother to two wonderful children.  My son Will is attending Toccoa Falls College.  My daughter is a senior at Vidalia High School and participates in the Move On When Ready program and takes classes at East Georgia College.
